Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları Kızıl-stefan Zweig

Product description

Red-stefan zweig

in red, one of zweig's youthful works, he describes the process of a young medical student going to vienna for study, adapting to the reality of the big city and transitioning to adulthood. "this ""childish"" young man, who suddenly found himself alone in a cold room far from his family, has reached the point of giving up his medical education, which he was initially very enthusiastic about, due to the effect of the depression he entered over time." A girl who was caught red-handed and needed help at those very days brings her back to life... this narrative, dating back to 1908, is almost proof that zweig had already become a master of novellas at that time. Moreover, it reveals that a theme we often encounter in the author's later works fell into pursuit when he was still at the beginning of his career

that people who are too fragile to survive in a cruel world have been troubled by the pain of existence from the beginning.
