September
September, which was published in the servet-i fünun magazine in 1900, brought great fame to its author. ...also marks the first successful instance of the psychological novel in our literature. The novel takes its subject from the forbidden love, which was quite popular in its time. However, the innocence and nobility of love experienced in september is desired to be protected without being overshadowed. Thus, a relationship that is almost silent, where looks speak and music accompanies, begins. On the other hand, the characters are in a very noisy inner world full of resentments, conflicts, rise and fall, questioning happiness, love, social bonds. Mehmet rauf creates an unforgettable work with his emotional descriptions and analyses while knitting this world with the magnificent beauty of istanbul's bosphorus villages, music, and seasonal transitions. Mehmet rauf (1875-1931), born in istanbul, completed his military training at the soğukçeşme military school and then studied at the naval academy. He stayed in crete for a year and a half for his internship, and was later assigned to germany. Upon returning to istanbul, he was assigned to the liaison officer corps of the embassy ships in tarabya.
