Product description

Memories of a young doctor mikhail bulgakov i̇ş bankası culture publicationsrussia in the time of revolution… a gloomy september day, cold as winter, a doctor who has just graduated from the medical school arrives in a distant town where traditions and empty beliefs have long been forgotten in the city

As the revolution overturns life and mentality in the heart of the big cities, this young doctor goes into a difficult fight with fatalism and superstition in a remote region of the country

A difficult birth, a delicate surgical intervention, a journey despite a severe snowstorm to reach a distant patient, a colleague who is addicted to morphine while trying to relieve his pain... all the challenging tests the young doctor encounters in his daily life turn into stories with an extraordinarily strong narrative in bulgakov's hand, in a touching way that wanders on the limits of drama.
