Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları Balonla Beş Hafta (Abbreviated Text) 100 Temel Eser

Product description

The statement made at the meeting of the royal geographical society on january 14, 1862, caused a great wave of excitement in the scientific world

Doctor fergusson was planning to cross the african continent from end to end

Of course, that wasn't a very new idea

Until that day, many brave explorers had fallen on the road to uncover the secrets of the mysterious continent, and a large number of them had lost their lives on the road

Some explorers, however, limited their trips to a certain area and were only able to traverse a few regions. Doctor fergusson's journey would begin from the indian ocean, pass through the continent from start to finish, and reach the atlantic ocean. The doctor's idea was considered madness Even a large army could not complete this journey under the conditions of that day

In fact, doctor fergusson's plan was much crazier than people thought, because the famous explorer was thinking of crossing the entire continent in a hot air balloon. Fun, exciting, great adventure!
