    TARAF AL SULTAN MIX NAWASHEF - 400 G Assorted traditional Arabic dry sweets, including Barazek, Maamoul and Ghraybeh.

    EXACTLY WHAT IS IN THE BOX - Ajwa Date Maamoul: semolina shortbread moulded around Ajwa date paste - Ghraybeh: buttery melt-in-the-mouth Arabic shortbread - Barazek: thin crisp biscuits, sesame on one face and pistachio on the other WHAT 'NAWASHEF' MEANS Nawashef translates as 'the dry ones' - the family of Arabic sweets baked to keep rather than to be eaten within the day.

    That is what makes them the standard offering for a majlis, a long Eid visit or an office spread: they sit out on a tray for hours without going soft.

    THE THREE COMPONENTS Barazek are thin, brittle discs with toasted sesame pressed into one face and pistachio into the other.

    Ghraybeh is the buttery shortbread that collapses on the tongue.

    Ajwa Maamoul is semolina dough moulded by hand around Ajwa date paste.

    SIZE AND STORAGE Net weight 400 g, gross 721 g.

    Store at room temperature (15-25 C) in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

    Shelf life 1 year.

    GIFTING Ready to give as it arrives for Eid, Ramadan, Diwali, Christmas, weddings and majlis hosting.
