TARAF AL SULTAN AJWA DATE MAAMOUL - 200 G Traditional Arabic filled cookies with a soft, delicate texture and a rich, flavourful filling.
WHAT IS IN THE TIN - 400 g of ajwa date maamoul, net weight 400 g, in a decorative metal box.
ABOUT AJWA DATE MAAMOUL Semolina shortbread moulded around ajwa date paste.
Ajwa dates give the deepest and most caramelised of the maamoul fillings, and are the traditional choice for Eid.
HOW IT IS MADE Semolina dough is rested, portioned by hand around the filling, then stamped in a carved wooden mould before baking.
The stamped pattern is traditional shorthand for what is inside.
SIZE AND STORAGE Net 200 g, Store at room temperature (15-25 C) in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Shelf life 1 year.
GIFTING The metal tin is a finished gift as it arrives - suitable for Eid, Ramadan, Diwali, Christmas, weddings and majlis hosting, corporate gifting and hotel amenity use.
