Hello, The Transit Fliptop Mug 0.47L model can hold approximately 2-2.5 cups of water. A standard water glass is usually 200-250 ml, so this capacity is easily sufficient for daily use. You can carry any beverage from your hot coffee to cold water. 😊

Hi, great observation! The thickness of the metal strip section may have natural variations during the production process, but it does not create a significant difference in heat retention performance. The vacuum insulation system works the same on all products. Our model The Transit Fliptop Mug 0.47L has the capacity to keep hot drinks hot for about 5-6 hours and cold drinks cold for 6-8 hours. The slight heating in the metal strip part is a normal phenomenon - because this area is the place where the heat transfer is most intense between the cover and the body, it is natural. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help.
