Product Q&As
Hi, does it prevent bed-sits sores? We use a sitting cushion with a hole in the middle for my mother who is in a wheelchair, but she still gets wounds. I wonder if a gel cushion would be good?
Answer from softlife
Hello, the Visko gel cushion is designed to help prevent pressure-related sitting and bed sores that can occur in people who sit for long periods of time. The viscose material on the inside takes the shape of the body, balancing the pressure and providing maximum comfort for long sitting. And the gel layer on top creates a cooling effect on top of that comfort, reducing sweating and helping the skin breathe. Thus, it offers both comfortable and protective use. For individuals who spend extended periods in a wheelchair, a center-hole cushion offers a more comfortable and supportive option compared to traditional cushions.
