Product description

"i am publishing this novel without any changes from its original form in 1830.

there could be two drawbacks to this.

first, by reader maintenance: because the people are italian, the reader will be less interested maybe. The people of this country are quite different from the french.

italians are sincere, good people, they are not shy, they say what comes to mind.

even if they are proud from time to time, it becomes a passion, it takes the name of “i”.

then, poverty is not a laughing matter to them. The second objection concerns the author.

let me be frank, i have dared to leave the rigors of the acts of the heroes of the story, as they were their inconsistencies.

in return, i say without hesitation that most of what they do, i condemn morally. What is the benefit of giving the high morality and cuteness of the french, who love money more than anything and never commit any sin for the sake of revenge or love, to them? The italians in this novel, they are the opposite.

it seems to me anyway that whenever a person travels two hundred fathoms from south to north, a new novel emerges like a new landscape. The pastor's adorable nephew met duchess sanseverina and loved her very much.

he also asked me to write about the events that deserved to be remembered, without changing anything from his beginning.

i followed these requests.
