İskele Yayıncılık Madame Bovary

Product description

Gustave flaubert, who was born in the rouen region of france in 1821, was fascinated with literature during his youth.

he is the first writer of the naturalism current, which was systematized by zola, who began writing shortly after himself. With his passion for realism, he wrote without any affinity for any of his novel heroes.

he meticulously examines every character and every event, searches for the causes of people and events, and conveys them to the reader in excellent language.

"his first work, ""madame bovary"", which he published in the ""revue de paris"" in 1857, was banned by the government on the grounds that it insulted the moral and religious sentiments of society, but it was pardoned and brought flaubert great fame across the country."

xix. "madame bovary,"" one of the most successful examples of the century's novel, has made the novel striking with both the subject it addresses and its style." The described story seems to be about the tragic life and loves of emma bovary, but it also addresses the arrogance of french and judicial ethics in the 19th century. Flaubert, who cared about blending every detail in the novel with reality, went so far as to taste arsenic to describe emma's suicide, and that's why it is said that he got sick.

in “madame bovary” shows how a frivolous woman, carried away by the feelings of the romantic movement and taking them seriously, led to disaster. It shows the petty, trivial, and small world that lies behind the tragedy of a small bourgeois woman.
