it is of great importance to establish it on a solid ground

it is among the first duties of every Muslim to secure his faith, to purify it from doubts and ideas that do not represent the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah.

For this reason, Islamic scholars have started to write works explaining the aqa'id of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah since the first centuries of Hijri. These works in your hand are among the most fundamental, classical and source works explaining the Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah aqeedah

they have been taught as textbooks in all madrasas in the Islamic world from Andalusia to Western Asia, and dozens of commentaries and glosses have been written on each of them.

These works of aqeedah, which take their source from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, have reached our day by being passed from hand to hand and from generation to generation.
