At the end of his life, celaleddin el-mahalli started writing half of the quran, and after completing it, his student celaleddin es-suyuti completed his work in forty days in 1 ramazan 870 (april 1466), and the work became famous under the name of tefsir el-celaleyn (two celals' interpretation).
