Generic Cardboard Palm - 40CM TO 50CM

Product description

The Cardboard Palm (Zamia furfuracea) is a stunning and durable tropical plant that thrives in the UAE’s warm climate.

Despite its name, it is not a true palm but a cycad, known for its thick, leathery leaves that resemble cardboard.

This hardy plant is perfect for both indoor and outdoor spaces, adding a touch of lush greenery to your home or garden.

The Cardboard Palm is highly drought-tolerant and requires minimal maintenance, making it an excellent choice for busy gardeners.

It thrives in well-draining soil and enjoys full to partial sunlight.

Once established, it requires little water, making it ideal for the UAE's arid conditions.

WATERING GUIDE: In order for the plant to absorb the water directly from the tray, place the plant pot within the tray and fill it with water.

When the soil dries out, perhaps once a week, do this.

The plant's leaves will perish if you water it directly from the top.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Bright indoor light or indirect sun.

6 hours to 8 hours.

OPTIMAL TEMPERATURE: Keep the temperature between 18°C and 24°C.

Steer clear of draughts as they can cause unwanted temperature swings.

To keep your plant at the ideal humidity level, think about spraying it twice a week.

FERTILIZING: Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer.
