GARTNER Pizza Shovel - 304 Stainless Steel - 36X35 cm

Hi, yes you can use it in the oven. It is also referred to as a pizza stone. It starts to heat up in about 7-8 minutes on average

Hello, unfortunately it does not have a handle. I would like to share your instructions for use with you. Place your steel on the middle or top rack of your oven. Preheat your oven to its maximum temperature before starting to cook. (250 C) Preheat your steel for at least 20-25 minutes. Leave your oven door slightly ajar for 5 minutes before the first pizza to maintain the temperature at its maximum level. Carefully spread your pizza on the steel. Make sure your pizza peel is well-floured for easy transfer, or you can use parchment paper for this step. Your pizza will be ready in 7-8 minutes. You can spread the pizza with the help of a shovel while putting it in the oven. You can use a GARTNER Pizza Shovel if you wish. If you don't have this, you can slide it onto a flat tray with the help of greaseproof paper. Our advice is to use it in a shovel for convenience. In any case, make the pizza on greaseproof paper and do not slide it onto the steel. This way it will be easier to take.
