Ayrıntı Yayınları Soren Kierkegaar’da Kaygı Kavramı

Product description

Vigilius haufniensis, as we know him as søren kierkegaard, compares anxiety to the dizziness we feel when we stand on the edge of a cliff.Being able to decide whether to take a step towards the uncertainty of the cliff or not, and having all the possibilities laid out in front of you for a moment, causes this dizziness in a person.

Similarly, anxiety is the dizziness that occurs in every case in which the responsibility of choosing between possibilities belongs to the individual.

like a person looking down from the edge of the cliff and dizzy, freedom watches its own possibilities.

he discovers the possibility of establishing a relationship with himself and the obligation to be responsible for this relationship.

therefore, anxiety is a “sympathetic antipathy, antipathic sympathy” that we both push towards and avoid from him.

The concept of anxiety in søren kierkegaard is an effort to explain the relationship between anxiety, which is the most fundamental sign of freedom in human existence, and the concepts of inherited sin, freedom, time, and despair, in the footsteps of the existentialist danish philosopher kierkegaard.
