Ayrıntı Yayınları Book Kör Pencereler - Michel Tournier - 112 Pages

Product description

The book of blind windows - michel tournier - 112 page detail publications nicholas montmort lives in an old castle surrounded by the shadows of his ancestors. He spends his days in the dusty library of the castle and in the magnificent garden where a statue of a god of the field stands in the middle. When he was only thirteen years old, the arrival of his father's enigmatic friend porphyre, along with his two angels (gémeau and gémelle), opened the door to a complete transformation in nicholas's life. Blind windows, which is the first door to michel tournier's literary universe, carries the first traces of many themes that the author will develop later. This work, although it is the first fictional text to come out of tournier's pen, has not been published for a long time, it is almost a starting text kept in the author's mind. Having failed his lecturer's exam in philosophy and been expelled from the academic world, young tournier transforms this moment of rupture into a new literary birth. Even though it's unfinished, *blind windows* can be read both as an introduction to literature and as a fairytale-like philosophical journey. More importantly, this text is a fascinating exploration map where a budding writer discovers the limits of their imagination, where thought and narrative intertwine. "blind windows" is as much a story of escaping childhood as it is a mysterious beginning that witnessed the birth of a writer.
