who was frida kahlo? She was a world famous painter, a communist, a feminist, a lover, and above all, a sister. In frida, you will read the life story of the famous painter from the perspective of her little sister cristina. Cristina, like frida, creates her own reality in her paintings, and when she tells about her sister, she creates her own reality and takes readers on a magical journey.

barbara mujica takes cristina and frida kahlo at the center of the novel and presents us with a love story full of envy, betrayal and competition between sisters

it is a mirror to the mind of a woman who suffered throughout her passionate life and who was extraordinarily talented.

one of the best examples of the genre of a biographie of a heinous: a brilliantly written novel, full of enthusiasm and reflecting the psychology of the chief character. " kirkus reviews "vibrant.

with every sentence, he stirs the feelings. "a fascinating account of frida kahlo's life and death from ""the new york times""." "mujica's frida, as described by ""grand rapids press"", is a brave and foul-mouthed child

she earns everyone's love even though she is stubborn about everything."
