Yordam Kitap Sovyet Kadını

Product description

Aleksandra kollontay (1872-1952) was an influential leader of the russian revolutionary movement, a marxist thinker who firmly opposed the class struggle of women, the first female commissioner (minister) in the bolivarian government after the october revolution, and a female diplomat who earned the respect of the world with her efforts for peace. The ideas of kollontay have not been discussed enough both in the history of soviet russia and in the ideological legacy of marxist feminism. However, kollontay's writings, written with an uncompromising and indisputable style, are filled with the deep and important thoughts of a radical thinker and a leader with a sense of responsibility for the socialist practice being attempted in soviet russia. The soviet woman consists of twelve articles compiled from writings and speeches made by kollontay on various issues that occupied her mind in different stages of her political life.

Clearly felt as a contribution to the creation of a new society with strong hopes, these articles contain bright observations that can open up discussions today on many issues, such as the demands of the socialist women's movement, how to overcome the “sexual crisis” created by the contemporary bourgeois society, the responsibilities of the socialist state for the liberation of women.

The memories of kollontay, featured in the last section, show that this life, which has gone through politics and struggle, has never given up on creating a new world: “my life, as an example, can serve to refute the outdated double standard garabette of other women's lives as well.”

this is the most important meaning of my personal existence.
