Yordam Kitap Old Gods, New Riddles - Marx'ın Kayıp Teorisi

Product description

Marx is back, but which marx?life stories published in the recent past insist on positioning him as a nineteenth-century figure. In this book, where mike davis first writes his theses directly about marx and marxism, we encounter a thinker who speaks not only about the past but also about the present.

In his book, which brings together a series of probing and provocative articles, davis discovers two fundamental questions marx poses for our time: who can lead the revolutionary transformation of society and what is the cause and solution of the environmental crisis on our planet? To illuminate the new dimensions of marx's theoretical texts and political writing, davis turns to the vast archives of labor history.

he suggests us a lost marx. These marx's resolutions on the view of history's actors, nationalism, and the class struggle related to the middle classes are of critical importance for the revival of revolutionary thoughts in our dark age. In his analysis of the global employment crisis and increasingly deteriorating climate conditions, davis draws attention to the failure of capitalism to ensure the continuation of humanity, while also critiquing the fetishism of the human age.

"in the final part of old gods, new riddles, mike davis, looking at an old debate that has now been forgotten, the ""alternative socialist urbanism"" (1880-1934) debates, embarks on a search for the fundamental concepts of a highly qualified life on a universal scale in a sustainable environment." This book by davis, which is both a handbook in the field of historical sociology, cultural analysis and strategy, and an excellent introduction to marxist debates, also carries the feature of being a weapon for action. There is no other name as successful as mike davis in establishing the deep and intense political analysis legacy that robert brenner laid out in marx's manifesto and the 18 brumaire.
