summary:The 19th century, when russian literature has become a “noble literature” with pushkins, tolstoys, turgenevs."the brothers karamazov is the last novel written by the great writer dostoevsky, who left his mark by bearing the burden of the century, poverty, suffering, crime, the street, and the voice of the ""people"" before his death."

it is the culmination of all his literary achievements.

The brothers karamazov is, in its own way, a very comparable text to the likes of the divine comedy, faust, in terms of the author ' s rendering of the conflict of faith and reason, of the genre of novel.Another importance of the novel is that it thoroughly reveals the deterioration in the russian family structure (which dostoevsky had previously highlighted in his novel the idiot).

The murder of a drunk, lustful, immoral father by one of his sons is the story of the novel.

but even this murder will be just one of the grounds for which the concept of justice is discussed.

The entire novel is like an expression of the question, 'if there is god, why is there no justice in the world?' which is also a reflection of deep pain.It will lead new trends in literature and philosophy in the coming years, attracting a wide audience from all over the world, including figures such as freud, einstein, kafka, camus, and sartre.

Yordam literature presents this great work in the turkish language by the master translator leyla soykut.
