Letters to milena “nevertheless, the longing itself is not as big as the noise clamor for it.

you’ll find it ridiculous, but it’s not! Look, i say, 'i love you the most,' but maybe that's not true love. maybe if i say, 'you're a knife, and i'm constantly tearing myself apart with that knife,' that's when i'm really expressing true love. Letters to milena consists of letters written by franz kafka himself to milena jesenská, a czech journalist, writer, and translator who translated kafka's stories into czech. The traces of kafka's deep affection and love for this unique woman are sometimes carried out in secret, but most of the time they are carried out openly between the sellers of these letters. “someday i want to take your head in my hands and look into your eyes, milena,” says kafka, “until you see yourself in the eyes of the other person and recognize yourself.

”transformation “however, in the morning, when the doors were locked, everyone was pouring out their tongues to come to him. Now, even though the doors are open, no one is coming, and they were locking the doors from the outside.

” 20. Written by franz kafka, one of the important novel and story writers of the century, and published for the first time in 1915, this story is about gregor samsa, a traveling sales representative, who wakes up one ordinary morning to find himself transformed into a giant insect. the story follows the series of events that unfold.

Leaving everything else aside, gregor, who is now even unfamiliar with his own body, tries to adapt to the idea of living with this new body. on the other hand, he enters into a struggle to put things in order for himself and his mother, father, and sister, who are dependent on him for their livelihood. Gregor, from the very beginning, pushes the reader to imagine beyond the reality known to him. The case read, "i'm not aware of this law," k. said. "it's a shame, really," the detective replied.

“suppose this law only exists in your head,” replied k.

Josef k., who learned through a sudden announcement that he had been arrested, but could continue his daily life, that is, do what he normally does.

He cannot learn which door he knocked on, and information about why he was arrested. In the days following the arrest, everyone seemed to know about this case. yet, somehow, they found themselves swept up in the whirlwind, afraid of losing their freedom to an unknown force. In this work, kafka has created such an absurd system that it clearly invites the reader to read between the lines rather than the lines themselves.
