summary: Throughout our history, we have achieved magnificent victories as well as suffered great defeats. our rich history, which is important in terms of military history, should be written for today and future generations without hesitation, with its faults and merits, in accordance with the philosophy and methodology of modern history writing. we should do this not only for our country and our nation, but for the whole world. In this book, we examine some turkish military historians who, unlike their counterparts, have voluntarily taken on a great burden and responsibility, laying the foundations of military history in our country and striving to build it brick by brick. we need to know them, understand what they did and what they couldn't do, as we continue from where they left off. ultimately, an important task of the historian and the reader of history is to know the historian as well as the history.
