summary:The conqueror of gaul, the winner of the civil war, the lover of cleopatra, and the founder of the empire...Although caesar has been admired for centuries, his uniqueness has long been overshadowed. Some described him as a patrician, safeguarding the privileges of the aristocracy

others saw him as an effective propagandist, or even an autocrat driven by a voracious appetite for power. However, caesar's true power did not come from his noble birth or his established family. His captivating charm, charismatic leadership, and sharp wit made him the one who changed the destiny of rome.

He revived the institutions of the republic, which was dying his last breath, and laid the foundation of a different society, opening room for new social classes.

he made conquests for rome and even transformed religious life.

this invincible man failed in one thing: he could not build a party strong enough to ensure his lasting dominance of the state.

When assassins, united by hate, killed him in 44 bc, in the mart island, in fact, caesar's work had long become a historical requirement. As a matter of fact, shortly after, his adopted son augustus inherited his legacy and gifted rome with the "augustus century," immortalizing caesar's name.
