summary: Andalusia has been a unique geography where different religious and ethnic identities have lived together for a long time, perhaps unprecedented in the world throughout its history in the middle ages. the muslim dominance, which started in 711 and lasted until 1492, was not only a political existence, but also managed to build a dominant and effective identity in terms of socio-cultural and scientific sense. one of the main reasons for this islamic presence, which lasted for about eight centuries, is the strong interaction established with different elements in the geography. this process has formed a common bond that will be called "andalusianity" over time. With questions, you will encounter the andalusians in the history of andalusia with a broad perspective that extends from political transformations to city life, from scientific activities to inter-religious relations, from daily life practices to this multifaceted structure that not only influenced the islamic world but also the medieval europe. This book examines the islamic presence in andalusia during the period from the beginning of the islamic conquests to the fall of granada, exploring its political and socio-cultural dimensions through a series of questions.
