summary: This study, which deals with the relationship between aesthetics, literature and politics in a historical and theoretical unity, reveals that creative freedom cannot be thought of independently from social responsibility and class base.

This compilation, spanning from gorky and lunacharski's analyses to lenin's theses, presents the concept of "socialist realism" not as a mere current, but as a method for faithfully reflecting life within its revolutionary development.Enriched by the contributions of writers such as parkhomenko, yasnikov, kagan, kunitsin, tvardovski, sholokhov, and fedin, the work explores the connection between art and the masses, its role in the struggle of the working class, and its part in building the future.

Socialist realism in art, which defends the transformative power against approaches that confine art to ivory towers, serves as a fundamental reference source for those who wish to understand the principles of revolutionary art.
