Product description

In sound and fury, one of the peaks of faulkner's literature, which has entered the classics of the twentieth century, the disintegration of the compson family living in the south of the usa is monitored with different consciousnesses: with the narrations of benjy, the mentally handicapped son, quentin, his elder brother who suffers from guilt and honor feelings, and jason, the tough, logical and cunning other brother, what happens in the family is gradually revealed. A novel by faulkner, with its unique intense language and narrative, fully demonstrates its mastery in giving the events, thoughts, spreading or trapped emotions in a whole atmosphere. sound and fury. In sound and fury, the ownership of the characters and the universal tragedy of events are as sharp as a broken window with faulkner's language, as loud as a moment of anger. I judge a novel that i write based on which one gives me the most pain and sadness from the ones i have written before, just like a mother loves her child who is a thief or murderer more than her child who is a priest. William faulkner (explaining why his favorite novel was sound and fury) has never had anyone but faulkner put so much from his heart and soul into writing. Eudora welty
