Yapı Kredi Yayınları Nasrettin Hoca Stories

Product description

"... my friend şevket rado told me that it would be a good thing to write the jokes of nasrettin hodja as my responsibility." After rummaging through a few books to find these jokes, i saw that the stories of this national hero, whose fame has spread to foreign countries, are still not written in turkish. I passed on a beautiful style, in the books i read, there wasn't even a proper turkish. Moreover, i believed that writing these jokes in a readable language was a task that would not be underestimated. "if i say that the nasrettin hodja jokes i wrote are the best that have been written so far, i wouldn't be considered very slanderous." -orhan veli kanık- nasrettin hodja's jokes, without changing their essence, added a new color, a new taste. orhan veli immortalized these points, which date back to the 13th century and some even further back, with his poetry language.
