Yapı Kredi Yayınları Nar Ağacı in the Mountains

Product description

"the ""nar tree in hüyük"", which yaşar kemal said was one of my works that best understood the relationship between nature and humans, is about the drama of the landowners and Transitional workers who became unemployed with the tractor entering agriculture." The great shadow of capitalism falling on cukurova is becoming visible with every line. What makes this novel and many of yaşar kemal's works powerful is hidden in these words 'nature-human relationship'. Because yaşar kemal approaches this relationship with a quality that is identical to the most basic, oldest, language-creating ability of a person. Creating myths. . . Apart from the enchantment of all elements in the novel named the pomegranate tree in güven turan hüyükteki, yaşar kemal has managed to create the cosmos of epic writers with words from outside the abyss and microcosmic lives and dreams hidden in anatolia. Most of yaşar kemal's novels, as seen in the frankfurter allgemeine zeitung (germany), take place in the fertile çukurova where the plague does not fly and the caravan does not pass, in kilikya, and even in istanbul, which looks like another world. Yasar kemal, who brought this extreme, difficult region to world literature, creates contemporary works based on old myths he knows very well.
