Yapı Kredi Yayınları Long Day of the Sandık Observer - Modern Klasikler

Product description

The great master of italian literature, italo calvino, in the long day of the trunk observer, which begins and ends on an ordinary election day, explores the problems that arise in that single day in the personality of amerigo ormea, a communist party member. Ideals, politics, bureaucracy, virtue, human spirit and nature, love are all intertwined in a questioning that mirrors itself from the everyday to the fundamental. The chosen venue, cottolengo, is a place that eliminates the inside/outside dilemma and brings up striking questions if it's the atmosphere of the country: which is the real world? Who is the one who thinks? "i have never dared to touch on issues such as the unhappiness of nature, suffering, and reproductive responsibility, which i promised in my book ""the long day of the prisoner"", until today." Even today, telling the truth is not much of a step forward, but accepting that they exist and knowing that they should be taken into consideration makes a huge difference.
