Product description

Picabia wrote his novel, caravansaray, which carries traces from his own life, in 1924, when the first surrealism manifestos were published. The only novel picabia wrote, kervansaray, resembles a series of paintings depicting an era caught in the vortex of avant-gardists, in a sarcastic and mocking style. In the absence of a picabia system, he reveals a life art, which is experienced by itself, with all its own dialectics, its own games and limitations. He opposes breton's dogmatic certainty with an unattainable freedom, which is the confirmation of his own freedom...”
