Edition / 10.2020 Written over a period of thirty-two years, the quartet of "thin memed" is the story of Memed, who rebels against the order, and the story of Çukurova with its human relations, nature and colors.

In Yaşar Kemal's words, it is the novel of a man "born with the wolf of rebellion in him", the "obligatory man".

Abdi Aga is killed and his brother Hamza takes his place. Memed kills ali safa bey and hamza, who oppress the villagers of vayvay in order to take over their lands.

However, although he becomes a legend for the villagers, he begins to doubt that killing the oppressors will not end with killing them.

Abdi aga is gone, hamza has taken his place, and another will take his place.
