Yapı Kredi Yayınları I Am a Tree

Product description

Mevlut's middle school years orhan pamuk for everyone. in this book, i tried to choose the most understandable and powerful pages i have ever written. Childhood and school stories and pages from history. while collecting these pieces from other books into the book, orhan pamuk touched the texts, changed his old writings, added sentences, paragraphs, and put titles. This selection, made from the most beautiful pages of pamuk's forty-year authorial life, will attract the interest of both his new and young readers, and the old followers of the author. In the heart of the book, there are two topics that i enjoy dreaming about: the mysterious face of history and the memories of childhood and student years.

i always returned to these two sources in my novels and prose.

each time, i felt the two issues intertwined in my mind.

that is: the date of the childlike, that is, the date of the childhood. "a story that has never been published, ""i am a tree"" by pamuk tells the story of a cellad in the ottoman period, the jealousy of a sultan, makes a tree and a picture speak, and tells his own childhood, youth and school memories." With the story of the middle school years of mevlut karatas, the hero of pamuk's new novel, a strange thing in my head.
