summary:Geiser, an old man, lives in an isolated village in the swiss alps. The village is under threat of soil erosion due to frequent rains.

While trying to cope with the chaotic and relentless nature, geiser cuts information from encyclopedias and books and hangs it on the wall of his room, thus trying to record not only his fading memory but also the knowledge of humanity.

however, nature is far more vast than man's limited knowledge of it, and eventually the inevitable confrontation will occur.

This small-scale masterpiece by max frisch is a profound reflection on human fragility and existential struggle against nature.Filmed in 1992, this work, which has been staged countless times, turns into a prophecy that becomes more classic as the years go by and our world progresses on the path predicted by the author.

It's a masterpiece level matter.
