Yapı Kredi Yayınları Çanakkale Destanı

Product description

Unforgettable human stories that have never been seen in any front, in any battle. Soldiers who are enemies during the day and friends at night, on one hand, they kill each other, on the other hand, they are human beings. Many books have been written about the çanakkale war, in turkish and other languages.

almost all of them were books that highlighted the battle, strategies, losses, military and political assessments. In this short work, i tried to emphasize the human side of the battle. In this study, i used the messy notes i took from all the turkish and english books i read on this subject over the last thirty years. If i have any mistakes, please forgive me. After all, this text is ultimately described with a sense of poetry. Until now, world history, which has been perceived as a “history of wars”, i wish from now on to turn into the history of developments, inventions, human stories that are not about war, but about something other than war. My greatest wish is for that date to be filled with joy and happiness rather than pain.
