Product description

"for james joyce, the author who overturned the boundaries of modern literature, language, and narrative, and introduced the novel genre with completely different possibilities, beckett says, ""his works are not about the thing, but the thing itself""." Jorge luis borges, flann o'brien, david foster wallace, and countless other writers have been influenced by joyce, who left behind a universal and timeless literature simply by describing dublin and ireland. Joyce tells the stories of the characters that cannot be left behind in the three-act play 'exiles', which was published in 1918, no matter how far they go. Richard, a writer, returns to ireland from rome, where he went with his wife bertha a long time ago. He meets his old friend robert, who is now a successful journalist, and beatrice, his old love. As suppressed feelings emerge in the past, their relationships all turn to the blind. "the ""exiles"", a complex love story, which was released without being staged, held its premiere in munich due to the lack of a theater in england, and then the most significant production was carried out by harold pinter in 1970." You are very brave to start staging the “exiles”. "i learned from samuel beckett's letter to harold pinter, ""i learned to see the thing that carries the sparkle of the stars, the beauty and enthusiasm of words, to perceive that every word has a life and a history, through joyce."
