Xenon Smart Smart Motorized Door Lock Remote Locking and Unlocking Mobile Control Password Fingerprint Smart Lock X8070

Hi, No, you cannot control the X8070 motorized door lock directly via wifi. The device is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, so it can only be controlled when you are near the device. To control the lock remotely via Wi-Fi, regardless of distance, you'll need to use the Xenon Smart gateway (X7964). With this gateway, you can use features like remote access and voice assistant support. If you have any other questions we can gladly help.

Hello, the power source of the X8070 Motorized Door Lock is 4 1.5 V AA batteries. These batteries are not included in the box contents, so you need to obtain them separately. Installation of the device is carried out on the existing door lock-cylinder (barelin). If your door has a standard keyed cylinder lock, you'll retain the ability to open and close it with a key from the outside after the lock is installed. The internal mechanism of the device does not turn the lock cylinder, it does this work in a motorized way. However, if the lock is manually turned with a key, the device does not resist it. In short, if you have an existing keyed lock on your door, you can continue to use that lock with an exterior key. If you have any other questions we would be happy to help.
