weck jars are produced by j. weck company. Weck jars, which have become the most popular home canning system in germany and europe, were initially introduced in germany in 1895 and began to be sold outside of germany in 1902. Weck jars have been used all over the world for many years for pickling, jam, paste and all other canning preparations. The difference from the classic jar is that it consists of a clip, a rubber and a glass lid trio. Thanks to its different structure, it is a product that facilitates the canning process. Weck jars, which are made from thick glass resistant to high temperatures and pressure, have only recently started to become widespread in our country.
