The green tea broom is made of high-quality bamboo material, which is clean, environmentally friendly and safe to use.
The bamboo surface is smooth, does not fall off the shavings easily, and feels comfortable.
The matcha powder brush tool helps to stir the soft foam of matcha powder to bring out the best tenderness of green tea.
this bamboo whisk is suitable for whisking frothy, clump-free matcha with a brush.
Bowl is not included! Brush size: 10.5 cm.
Product diameter: 5 cm.
Weight: 22 gr.
soak the matcha whisk in hot water before operating.
The teeth of the bamboo matcha whisk are very fragile and susceptible to breakage.
Before each use, putting the whisk into a container of hot water for at least 30 seconds will allow the fork tips to absorb water, which will keep the fork tips from softening and breaking.
Note: if your beater is brand new, the teeth will be very hard at first. It will take at least 3-5 brews for the whisk to bloom and soften its tips.
when the whisk is soft, it will be much easier to make matcha foam.
to perfectly whisk your matcha, it will be good for you to choose a bowl with a wide open mouth and a well-sized bottom.
Cleaning: rinse whisk with water immediately after use.
If your bamboo matcha whisk is not cleaned and dried after each use, it can easily get moldy.
Don't wait to wash it.
wash immediately after use.
do not put your whisk in the dishwasher for cleaning.Do not use detergent when cleaning your whisk.
pour warm water onto the whisk, with the teeth facing down.
the reason for this is to prevent water from accumulating in the narrow neck of the whisk as much as possible.
Mold is the bane of the beater! Bamboo is porous, so if your matcha whisk is put away without being completely dried, it can start to smell.
the quickest way to dry your matcha whisk is to lay it on a windowsill with sunlight shining on the ends, or somewhere outdoors.
Do not put it in a cupboard drawer or pantry cabinet until it is completely dry! Store your whisk in a cool, dry place.
when is the time to buy a new whisk? After the first use, the matcha whisk will change shape.
the teeth of the beater will start to loosen, and the teeth in the middle will generally loosen and open.
this is completely normal.
in fact, the more the whisk is opened, the easier it is to produce frothy matcha.
Over time, the prongs will eventually break.
even if a few tips break, you'll find that the beater still performs well.
if you see signs of mold or it starts to smell funny, try boiling it in water for a few minutes and scrubbing it
you can even use a hairdryer to quickly dry the beater and keep it from getting damp.
