About cevsen
The cevşenü'l-kebîr is a powerful and comprehensive supplication made by our prophet (peace be upon him) to almighty god with a thousand names. the word cevşen, which is of persian origin, means a type of armor and battle dress. it is divided into two parts: cevşenü'l-kebîr and cevşenü'l-sağîr. however, the one that is famous today is cevşenü'l-kebîr. the cevşenü'l-kebîr is transmitted through the lineage of the great imams of the ahl-i bayt, such as musa-ikazım, cafer-i sadık, muhammed el-bakır, zeynel abidin, hz. hüseyin and hz. ali (peace be upon them) from our prophet (peace be upon him).
Wearing a cevsen or reciting the cevsen prayer protects a person from misfortunes and illnesses.
From hz. ali (ra) and hz. from hüseyin (ra): I heard from our prophet (peace be upon him). one day, he was heading to mount uhud, even though he was wearing his armor. the weather was quite hot. they said, "peace be upon him, our lord." "i looked up to the sky and prayed. the gates of the sky opened. jibril (as) came down even though he was filled with lights. he said: “i have brought you greetings and tahiyya and a gift of sustenance from the exalted lord.” I received the greetings of ta' zim. jibril (as) said: "take off this armor, read this prayer. if you carry and read this prayer, it will have a power greater than armor." The prophet (pbuh) asked jibril-i emin: Is the effect and sensitivity of this prayer only for me? or is it also for my nation? jibril (as) said: "o messenger of allah! no one knows the reward of this prayer except allah, the almighty." (cevşen meali) There is no harm in wearing the cevşen by paying attention to our intention. as understood from the hadith, hz. cebrail (as) advised our prophet (asm) to carry and read the cevşen prayer as armor. in other words; even if a person cannot find time to read the cevşen prayer all the time, it is beneficial to carry it on him. because wearing cevşen protects people from misfortunes and many misfortunes.
You can go to the toilet with muskave cevşenler that are wrapped on top and not visible inside.
There is no shame in going to the toilet with prayers such as cevşen, which is wrapped or covered with leather and cannot be seen inside. however, it is necessary to put it inside the dress or take it off when going to the toilet with cevşen and necklaces that are transparent, visible inside or written on them. It is reported from enes bin malik: "when the prophet (pbuh) went to hajj, he would take off the ring on his hand. because it was written on it ""muhammad resulullah"". (halilgönenç, fetvalar)" Hz. enes (ra) says: "the prophet (peace be upon him) would remove his ring when entering the ablution." abu dawud, ablution 10, (19); tirmidhi, clothing 16, (1746); nasai, adornment 54, (8, 178)." "a prayer for the wallet can be kept in the wallet. however, it would be healthier for the person who has the wallet to carry this wallet around - for example, to hang it around his neck. because the wallet is not always on the person. moreover, the wallet can be forgotten that it has a wallet and can be sat on or left in a corner. ""it would be better for the person who wants to keep the wallet on his neck to hang it around his neck as he needs to be careful against such situations."
It is more virtuous to read prayers with ablution without any necessity.
If there is no necessity, it is more virtuous to read the cevşenül kebîr prayer with ablution. if the book containing the cevşenül kebîr prayer contains chapters from the quran, it must definitely be kept with ablution. also, it should not be forgotten that being in ablution not only when worshiping but also at other times is an important sunnah that every muslim should make a habit of.
