Product Q&As
Hello. What is the square meter weight (gr/m^2) of this fabric? Is the fabric velvet, colt hair or special tightly woven acoustic fabric? Does the curtain have a self-blackout coating or an additional lining layer behind it? How many layers of fabric should we use for my window/wall width? (What is the fleece ratio?) What kind of curtain/rail system would you recommend for such a heavy fabric, and will it shrink when washed?
Answer from Velveta Perde
Hello, our fabric weighs 300 gr/m2, has a velvet texture and has no acoustic properties. It is not blackout fabric, but we have blackout fabric in our store. The product is flat-sewn, meaning it doesn't have pleats. If you want it to have a pleated look, you'll need to purchase at least twice the width you need. The fabric is suitable for attaching to the cornice and will not shrink if you wash it at 30 degrees without wringing.

Do you have 160X240?
Answer from Velveta Perde
Hello sir, unfortunately you can choose 150 or 180.

Hello. Is it thick enough to completely block the light?
Answer from Velveta Perde
Hello sir, blackout is not a curtain, it does not block 100% of the light, but since it is a dark color, it reduces it to a great extent.

We want width 280 and length 250. Do we need to give 280x250? So do we choose the width first?
Answer from Velveta Perde
Hello sir, yes, first the width measurement and then the height measurement, so 280 width and 250 height is correct. We wish you a good evening.
