Product description

Me, zhuangzi, once dreamed that i was a butterfly, a happy butterfly flapping its wings.

i was so happy that i forgot that i was zhuangzi.

when i suddenly woke up, i was astonished to realize that i was actually zhuangzi.

did zhuangzi dream he was a butterfly, or did the butterfly dream he was zhuangzi? Zhuangzi (369 bc-286 bc): there is very little information about the life of zhuangzi, one of the most important philosophers of daoism. According to si maqian's work, "records of the historian," he briefly served as a low-ranking official in gardening and declined an offer to govern the principality of chu.

it is known that he led a simple and poor life throughout his life. The zhuangzi texts are considered to explain daoism much more comprehensively than the dao de jing (tao te ching). The teachings of zhuangzi have also left significant impacts on chinese buddhism. For the first time, the zhuangzi texts, one of the fundamental works of daoism, meets the reader with its original language translation from chinese.
