Product description

A scientist living in victorian london travels in time with the machine he invented to visit future england. He tells the adventure he lived in the year of eight hundred and two thousand and seven hundred and one to a company of friends. The future world is a place where privileged people, the beautiful, delicate and lazy eloi's, live a comfortable and carefree life. However, during this adventure, time traveler soon discovered the gnarly morlocks belonging to the underground world. In his sharp criticism of the widening gulf between the wealthy and the poor in victorian england, wells questions the meaning of history and progress. He warns of the disasters that can be caused by social injustice if it continues. The time machine, published in 1895, has been one of the cornerstones of science fiction literature, influencing writers across generations. It retains its relevance today with its eschatological dimension, which contains a prediction about the environmental disasters that will occur in the 21st century and the concerns about the depletion of our planet. ?promotional text
