Product description

This gripping fantasy novel, published after jules verne's death, takes place in hungary, in the imaginary city of ragz on the tuna coast. The french engineer henri vidal goes to ragz to attend the wedding of his brother marc, a painter who has gained fame throughout europe, with myra, the daughter of the roderich family, a well-established family in hungary. A while ago, myra had another suitor, but he was rejected by the roderich family. This person is none other than wilhelm storitz, the son of the famous prussian scientist otto storitz. Are the mysterious and notorious events that overshadow the happiness of marc and myra, who are progressing on the path of marriage, part of wilhelm storitz's plan, who uses the scientific secrets of his father for revenge? Jules verne has directed his negative feelings towards the germans after the franco-prussian war in 1870, in which france fell defeated, towards his unique character wilhelm storitz. The novel he wrote around 1897 was published in 1910, with a version reviewed by his son michel verne.
