Product description

Thomas more (1478-1535): a 16th-century writer whose integrity and honesty were severely tested throughout his career as a lawyer, and who, in a sense, was condemned to death for his integrity, much like socrates. In utopia (1516), published about five hundred years ago, more presents a social utopia where the land he depicts is a paradise, an example of societal bliss that remains a source of inspiration to this day. Utopia is published with an in-depth analysis of hasan âli yücel's classics series, focusing on mîna urgan's authorship and contribution. Sabahattin eyüboğlu (1908-1973) was the chief assistant of the translation bureau established by hasan ali yücel, and one of the leading cultural figures of the republic era. Vedat günyol (1911-2004) is one of the most important members of our cultural history, who carried the spirit of the translation bureau in the following periods with the journals new horizons and çan publishing, which he published. Mîna urgan (1915-2005) was one of the most influential educators in our cultural life, both as a writer and translator, and through her lectures and conferences.
