Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları Tuhaf Bir Kadın

Product description

Leyla erbil's mental freedom, above all, gave birth to the result of pushing the limits of her works, unconventional literary genres. Although generally recognized as a storyteller and novelist, erbil's widespread acceptance of these literary genres, with their classic forms, is noticeable in almost every work where they have a "problem." Even though we might roughly call it a "novel" or a "story," it has produced unique works that don't repeat themselves, whose genre and the tradition it leans on couldn't be clearly defined at first. However, after a certain familiarity, if we receive a text that we don't know, we easily realize that it belongs to erbil. It is interesting in this context that the strange woman's past was thought to be a story book. It is also important that the writer “does not finish” the novel

In this novel's new edition, the author introduces fresh perspectives on mustafa suphi's destiny to the reader. If attention is paid, this update is made in the form of a literary genre that is finished by definition, torn from its author, thrown to the reader and left there
