Product description

İş bankası culture publications, tartar from tarascon (k.cover), fridrich schiller, 9786254053948. Alphonse daudet (1840-1897): daudet, who was the child of a merchant family, dropped out of his education after his family went bankrupt and joined the literary circles in paris. He gave works in the genres of poetry, novel, story, letter, memoir-letter. After daudet's letters from my mill, tarascon tartarin, written in 1872, tells the adventures of a south french hunting enthusiast in french algeria. Although it did not attract much attention during its publication period, tartarin, the naive jester who brought don quixote and sancho panza together in one body, has taken its place among the most beloved funny characters of french literature over time. In the work, which fascinated european minds in the nineteenth century, the eastward look both attracts this orientalist interest and makes the object of this interest, the east, subject to a humorous, smiling criticism.
