Product description

Sabahattin ali's most beloved 3 works include the fur-clothed madonna

kuyucakli yusuf

sırça köşk

the fur-clothed madonna. in the fur-clothed madonna, sabahattin ali turns his eyes to the life of an officer who is making people turn their heads. Raif efendi, who was born and raised in havran, finally decides to study art and leaves his town. First, he travels to istanbul, and then to berlin. Once they know, their thoughts are mute

either they don't find it worth talking about, or they haven't met someone else who would encourage them to share. Maria puder, who finally encountered him in berlin, breaks this silence. Raif effendi shakes off his loneliness and gives himself to this sweet love. The serçe pavilion, compiled from the stories written by sabahattin ali between 1944-1947, reflects the events that turned his life upside down, took him to death, and strongly affected his life. Additionally, rıfat ilgaz's interrogation in custody, like the incidents that occurred to the prisoner he met in sinop prison, has also entered these stories. It would be fair to say that the author turned to himself with biographical and autobiographical pieces in sırça pavilion. Yusuf of kuyucak “sabahattin ali yusuf of kuyucak” gives an anatolian town with all its human and social reality: with its noble people, with its ordinary people. With love, with hatred

With hope and despair… (…) among the turkish novels i have read, it is one of the novels where the details are used most perfectly and ingeniously. It is the small details that seem so insignificant that give the novel a complete concreteness

The world in the novel breaks its frame and jumps out, entering your world. "this sad novel, which begins in fethi naci nazilli and moves to edremit, tells the story of yusuf's struggle to stay clean, protect his love, and actually exist amidst increasingly harsh power demonstrations among the town's entertainers and the public, as a ""nature man""."
