The tragic story of the innocent love between two young people who grew up together on an island, paul and virginie, whom the author owes his reputation to, is the tragic story of the destruction of the pastoral paradise that surrounds the lives of these two innocent young people, who are dragged to the abyss by the intrusion of civilization. During the tanzimat period, he was one of the first translators from western literature, and as a result, he was one of the first ambassadors of romanticism, which shaped our new literature, in our country.
