Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları Marianne'in Kalbi - Hasan Ali Yücel Klasikleri

Product description

Alfred de musset (1810-1857): the artist, whose first poems were published at the age of twenty, gained fame as a poet, even though he later wrote plays, novels and stories.

he wrote his plays not to be staged, but more for reading. However, even today, the plays put on stage prove the dramatic value of their works. The sincerity in his language and feelings, along with his ability to captivate the audience, has ensured that his poetic and dreamlike plays always remain vibrant and fresh. Marianne's heart is one of alfred de musset's most beloved and frequently performed plays. This play, a fine example of the author's theatrical sensibility, stands as a timeless piece of romantic french drama that never feels dated.
