Product description

Jules payot (1859-1940): french pedagogue, educator, one of the radical thinkers of the republic period france.

his struggle for the reform of education, in order to take into account the formation of a rational will, as well as the provision of information, deeply affected the educators of the era.

when the most famous work, training the will, was published, it caused a great sensation in the french and foreign press and was soon translated into many languages. In his work, payot examines the causes of willpower weakness, especially in students, but generally in all intellectual workers.

it detects the means that will generate or strengthen emotions that will free a person from the weakness of will, or the means that will destroy or suppress emotions that prevent us from mastering ourselves.

how to use these tools also shows all students, teachers, intellectual workers in the work of willpower training, which is the result of four years of study and thought effort, with examples. "as payot, who sees the scientist's task as ""reaching a position that can make the future what we want"", stated with great modesty in the preface of his work: there are many more steps to be taken on this path."
